minis session experience
Short and sweet are these sessions but that doesn’t mean you should expect lessor quality from me. I keep these sessions short enough to keep the kids happy and time constraints handled. These sessions are usually themed so they are not comparable to my portrait sessions. When each of my Mini Sessions are launched I will provide you with a link to my booking page.
step 1
book your time slot
Follow the link to my Minis booking page where you can choose your preferred day and time. The booking form will usually ask questions about who will be attending and if there is anything that I need to know about the attendees that will help everyone feel comfortatble at the session. This may be that your child has ASD and “Twinkle like Star” will help him to feel calm. We only have a short amount of time in these sessions so that is why I feel this is very important information to have at the very start.
Once you have completed your booking I will send off to you your Contract and Invoice to be signed and paid before your session.
step 2
your session
You will arrive at the Mini Session location 5mins early to ensure that everyone is ready to make the best of their 15min time slot. I will greet you and introduce my self if we haven’t already worked together. Then we have the rest of your time slot to grab as many awesome photos as we can. Kids love the mini sessions because it means they don’t have to keep themselves together for such a long time.

purchase your images
My Mini Session offers usually come with some digitals and/or a print. This will be clearly stated on my advertising and mentioned at time of booking. About one week after your session the images from your session will be available for viewing in a private online gallery. At this time, you will need to select what images you wish to be part of your Mini Session offer. You can also purchase additional images in both print and digital at this time.

display your photos
Your photos are now in your hot little hands – whether they be prints to place on the wall, coffee table or sideboard, or digitals to share on social media. I love seeing the memories that we created on display. Take a photo of how you are displaying your photos and send them into me – that would make my day.

My Mini Sessions are in a set location where advertised. If you are wanting a particular location it is best to book a full portrait session with me.
My Mini Sessions are themed so depending on what the theme is will depend on what you should wear. My Christmas and Schooled minis would be the only time matching outfits would be encouraged or fun to include. I will usually give outfit suggestions in my communication to your in preparation of your time slot.
The answer to this question will depend on where the mini sessions will be held. If pets are welcome I will usually mention that in my advertisement.
Yes, of course you are welcome to book extra time by booking multiple time slots (consecutively). I will usually suggest this if you have a large family and you would like individual and group poses.
Because we don’t have alot of time to get to know each other, achieving a trust connection with your child might be a little more difficult. However, if you have completed the booking form with information that might help me with knowing what will help your child, before your session I will be able to add some extra items to my bag of tricks to encourage happy expressions.
The usual timeframe for your private gallery to be ready to view is one week after your session. There are times where this may take longer due to various reason however I will be in contact with you updating you on my progress.
Each Mini Session offering is different as to what digitals/prints are included.
Depending on the number of attendees and if you booked in a double session, your gallery may include any where from 10-30 images for you to choose for your Minis package and to purchase additional digitals or prints.
