- they have a milestone to celebrate – If this is the final year of schooling it deserves to be documented
- they have children in different schools and they would like sibling photos (or their school doesn’t offer these)
- their child struggles with feeling comfortable enough to get their photo taken, especially in the restricted timeframe with school photos – whether due to shyness or neurodivergence
- they homeschool, yet still want to get ‘school photos’
- they don’t like the restricted poses of traditional school photos, want to include special items (musical instruments or comfort items), would like to choose their own images or multiple poses
